Why don't I see all my devices after I scan?
Some device manufacturers have limitations which don't allow them to be discovered. To maximize the chance of discovery, ensure all the devices are turned on, connected to your home network and operating properly.
Can I edit the information of a scanned device?
Yes, the name, type of device and manufacturer can be changed to help you organize your devices. Tap the device to open the details, then tap the item you wish to change and type in or select the new details.
Can I scan more than one network/other networks that are not my home network.
No, you can only scan your private home network and scanning any other network is unlawful and may have severe penalties.
Why can't I scan a public/office network?
Cyberaid is intended for residential use only. You can only scan your personal home network.
Why am i unable to rescan my network?
Make sure the device you registered the app, connected to your home network and your network has internet access. If the issue continues, try rebooting your router and your mobile device. If you still cannot rescan, contact us via the help tab.
