Installing the mobile cyber app provides you with added security features and includes easy access to our cyber support team.
1.Download the app
An SMS was sent to you with a link for downloading your app. Find and click on the link in the SMS.
If you haven't received an SMS, contact the company who registered your app or our support team below to ensure your purchase was registered correctly.
2.Installation and on-boarding
After downloading the app follow the instructions on screen.
Policy ID - Your Policy ID is contained in the same SMS you received with the download link for your app. If you've deleted the SMS, contact our support team who will verify your identify and re-send it to you.
3.Network scanning
After your app is installed, you will be advised to scan your home network. Scanning will discover any devices connected to your home network and create security tasks for each of them.
To scan your network properly
- Ensure your mobile phone is connected to your home WiFi
- Turn on as many devices in your house as possible.
- In the app, tap menu, then re-scan and follow the instructions.
Troubleshooting
- Download not available - This can happen if your phone was activated in an area other than the app was designated for. Instructions are here to change the region or country for your iphone or Android device
- Scan errors - Ensure you are connected to your home WiFi. The cyber app will give you an error if you attempt to scan any network other than your home network.
- Unidentified devices. This is normal behaviour but make sure all the connected devices are turned on and attempt to rescan your network.
- App crashes or strange behaviour. Restart your iphone or Android mobile phone and attempt to reload the app.
