What are Security tasks?
Security tasks are provided in your mobile app and are generated personally for you and the connected devices in your home network.
They are organized by security level for you and completing the tasks will harden your overall network's security.
What does completing tasks do?
Completing each task reduces the vulnerability, closes device security loopholes and increases your overall security level. Cyber attacks targeting connected devices are becoming much more common, so increasing their online security is very important. The tasks are designed specifically for your devices and we recommend completing every ont of them.
Remember to rescan your network frequently to discover any new devices. New tasks for those devices will be displayed in the tasks section of the app as necessary.
I completed a task, but it still shows as incomplete/available.
This situation is usually the result of an updated or new device where the recommended security loophole is present again.
To solve this, just complete the task again and it should disappear when completed. Please contact us if a task doesn't disappear after it's completed and one of our cyber experts can assist further.
What are Critical, Information and Important tasks?
Your outstanding security tasks are displayed on the home screen and in the tasks menu. They are separated by vulnerability priority so you can easily view and complete them. The type of tasks are displayed as:
Critical - These are extremely important and should be completed as soon as possible.
Important - Important tasks aren't as high risk as critical but should be completed quickly
Improvement - Improvement tasks are lower risk such as device firmware updates etc. Completing these tasks will also reduce your online and device risk albeit not as much as the Critical or Important tasks.
Completing all these tasks increases your overall security and reduces your cyber attack risk and we encourage completing all of them as soon as possible.

Congratulations!!!! Your home network is at a very high security level against cyber attacks. Remember to rescan your home network occasionally or whenever you add/change a device on your network.
Any newly discovered device will create new custom tasks specific to that device for you.
